Really ANY 12 volt big battery will work. Reason I like using these car batteries and such is they have the AMP load ability to push the radio for broadcasting. If you have the funds available, GET the solar power generator, The one I linked above is the cheapest option for one that is QUALITY and has enough AMP load power to run everything. There are MANY MANY other solar generators that are MUCH cheaper but the amp load capability on them will not support large utility items such as microwave, aircondlting, refrigerator, vacuum cleaner, etc.. Those smaller amp load solar generators are perfect for charging your phone, laptop, iPad, small light, etc…
