That’s why you got me for a neighbor! I tend to thrive when the power goes out and have often times lived with next to nothing while still enjoying many luxuries of life. The power was out most of today due to the storms so I chainsawed my way to town on backroads for cigars and then made coffee on my campstove by candle light.lol This does have me looking into making some wind turbines out of old alternators I have laying around cause why buy when we can build. We should get together for coffee and some prayer sooner than later. I’ll send you a message!

Thank you for your testimony! I can relate more than I’d like to admit even being in the Dakota’s and now down south again plus pain Dr’s cant fix. Nothing less than burning bush experiences in a life of Hell, mostly of my own making yet HE was always there even when i didn’t feel it. This was truly inspiring and your dreams definitely have meaning. Thank you for your courage and keep up the good fight with faith and boldness. May GOD guide and protect you as HE reveals the answers you seek. May HE continue to mold you into the warrior you are intended to be using your experience for HIS good and the advancement of HIS Kingdom. These things I declare in our loving Savior’s JESUS CHRIST’S precious name! Let it be so.
Thank you for your service as well.

Good questions. A ham radio antenna is pretty specific and more powerful than a typical antenna. I’m not familiar with a can radio and not sure if auto correct changed cb on you but it would take quite the modification from what i remember if even possible. During an emergency no license is required however with a bit of research finding a local radio club is how I got my license but I let it expire several years ago. A google search should guide you to either a ham prep site for study or the official ARRL site for testing. Online or even fb marketplace should be the best place for a low cost radio and a ham radio self help book and Chris had mentioned posting a list of recommendations. I apologize for not being better up to date on my info as I’m looking to see what I can manage with my old mobile unit. Seems google may be able to help you the most without knowing what antenna you for sure have. There are different antennas for different meter radio’s as well. I’m going to be doing a bit more research for my own benefit but feel free to message me any other questions or specifics and I can look into that as well. Hope this helps and sure didnt want your post to go unheard so we can all build the community for the advancement of HIS Kingdom.
